Our brunch recap from Toulouse Legacy West and an honest review of the beignets!
One of the things I am passionate about is connecting women to each other and to quality local businesses. In January 2015, I began hosting Dallas Blogger Brunch at a different restaurant each month. Since its launch, this event has grown more than I could have dreamed, and has become something that I, as well the attendees, look forward to each month. I have had the incredible opportunity to work with and introduce other bloggers to some wonderful restaurants, florists, calligraphers, and other local businesses to make these brunches a success. Ten to twelve women attend each brunch to network, sample a new menu, take pictures for our respective social media accounts, and blog recaps at the end of each event. What started as a trial to see if I could bring a few fellow bloggers together has become a sought after monthly gathering.
Have you heard of the Dallas neighborhood, Kessler Park? I definitely had not until I looked at Kessler Park Eating House for this month's brunch. KP is a picturesque South Dallas neighborhood that is the backdrop for the Kessler Park Eating House- sister restaurant to Jonathan's in Oak Cliff. Each month I host Dallas Blogger Brunch at a different restaurant and this month at Kessler Park Eating House was such a treat!
After 15 months of Dallas Blogger Brunch, we have eaten at some of the tastiest brunch spots in Dallas, sipped on the cutest brunch beverages, and I have personally become a self-proclaimed French toast expert after sampling the best that Dallas has to offer. I decided to put together a guide to the best brunches in Big D according to Dallas Blogger Brunch. Follow @dallasbloggerbrunch on Instagram for a weekly dose of eggs benedict, mimosas, and the fluffiest pancakes from around the metroplex.
Brunch is my favorite meal and Dallas Blogger Brunch is my favorite event. I love getting together with friends new and old each month to try a new restaurant in Dallas while we get to know each other and build the Dallas blogging community.
