We missed our exit for the turnpike and it rained the whole way to Oklahoma, but the new Mazda3 still made it an enjoyable trip!

I love partnering with Mazda and I worked with them last year and drove the Mazda CX-9 down to Austin for my birthday weekend and had the best time so I knew driving the Mazda3 would be great.

I didn't know that it was supposed to rain the whole way from Dallas to Oklahoma, so we ended up driving five hours in the rain and of course missed our exit so the trip took about 40 minutes longer than it was supposed to! Haha! I started noticing a lot more lakes than usual on the drive and even said "I don't think I've ever noticed this much water on the drive home." That's when I realized we were probably off course. We decided to take advantage of the navigation system on the drive back to Dallas. Ha!

Of course we stopped at Bucee's on the way there AND back, and I felt like the sportiest person there! Our Mazda had the premium package, red leather interior, black rims...and was just super sleek looking!

I drive an SUV normally, so it was a fun departure to get into a car that was fun to zip around in, and had some updated features that my 2013 Lexus does not! Overall, we had a great drive, loved the sunroof, loved the navigation, and the car handled really well, especially in the rain!

Thank you, Mazda, for loaning me the Mazda3 for this triip!
