What a weekend! I went to a friend's ranch and river house with a group of girlfriends to celebrate a bachelorette weekend and we had so much fun! Contrary to popular belief, I love spending time in the country (even though I can't stand bugs!) and this weekend was no exception. We started the trip by touring the ranch and even saw zebras- yes, they have ZEBRAS!! This isn't a photo from National Geographic or a wildlife refuge- it's just my friend's ranch (amazing!!). I mean, 5 minutes into the tour, I had already declared it the best bachelorette weekend ever...how can you compete with zebras?! I wanted to share the items that I wore over the weekend because I enjoyed them so much, so you can shop the full looks below.
On Saturday, we lounged around the house and ate breakfast then floated the Frio River that afternoon; it was the perfect day too float- not too hot, but plenty of sunshine! I wore this red maxi dress on Saturday night when we went out to hear some country music and it was so comfortable and easy! I was surprised to find it at Old Navy, but so happy that I snatched it on a whim without even trying it on.
On the way to the ranch from Dallas, I wore this comfy white twist-front tee and statement necklace, which I got so many compliments on! It was the perfect easy travel outfit and would be great for a flight too! On the way home on Sunday, I wore this flowy yellow romper, which was such an exciting find because rompers are usually a tough fit for me! I was a little concerned about having to use the restroom in a romper, but the elastic waist was super easy to take on and off, so it was fine!
