Happy Monday! Most of y'all know that I love to explore and try new things (even though I also like to eat at the same restaurant every Sunday- shout out Torchy's Tacos!).

Over the weekend, I visited the Irving Canal Fest with a girlfriend and even though the Dallas heat almost melted my makeup off, we had a blast! The festival was centered around the canal, complete with boat rides and drivers dressed like Venetian gondoliers.

The canal level of the event showcased dance performances from different cultural groups in Dallas for guests to enjoy. Food trucks, children's performers, and face painters lined the walkway on the street level. We had some delicious BBQ from a food truck and sat by the canal and enjoyed the dance performances and people watching.

I love living in a place like Dallas that creates a fun environment for families to come together and enjoy the city!

Dress: Old Navy
