Goodbye, summer!

I can't believe we are almost to Q4! I can remember a lot of years where September would roll around and I would get hit with feelings of failure and thinking that I haven't achieved *anything* so far in the year or that I have such a long way to go before I hit my goal of xyz before the year is over! This year, I definitely still have things I want to accomplish by the end of the year, but instead of feelings of failure, I have feelings of gratitude and pride about all of the things that I've done this year already! Some of those aren't event "things I've done" but moreso "work I've done" in the areas of personal growth, mindset, and prioritizing myself this year.

If you aren't feeling the same way, there is still plenty of time to work on achieving your goals this year. Before you regroup and try to get motivated, I would encourage you to prioritize yourself and your personal growth over anything else. Personal growth is the only guarantee that things will get better day by day.

Here's a recap of the changes and progress I made in August!

Entryway Transformation //

I updated our sad, dark entryway with beadboard wallpaper and a peg rail shelf. I'm obsessed with how much a space can change with a little paint and a few new items!

New Chic Office Coming Soon //

This is my September project and I had everything ready to go around mid-August! TBH the preparation helped me start moving on this project right away when some of my moodboard pieces were on sale for Labor Day!
