Three easy ways to have the worst weekend ever. Boom.

Halloween is one of my favorites but there are a few easy ways to ruin even the best Halloween weekend!! You can do these three things to have the worst time ever OR do the opposite to enjoy your life! V simple! ;)

1. Don't go to a Halloween Party.

I can't believe there are people who don't go to Halloween parties! Are you serious?! An excuse to dress up like whatever you want and have fun...and you're going to pass? I know, I know, "what if I'm an introvert?" I didn't say it would be the easiest thing ever BUT you have to put in the effort to get the reward of making new friends! Luckily for you, Boo Bash is Saturday night, and you're invited.

So if you DO want to enjoy your weekend, definitely go to a party. It doesn't have to be mine, but check out the guest list and the invitation vibes to make sure it's a fit!

2. OPT OUT OF WearING a Costume.

If you want to have a terrible Halloween, you can go to a party but not wear a costume...guaranteed to be an awkward time. You're not required to wear a costume at Boo Bash, but it sure would make things easier for you!

I always encourage friends to wear a costume because it is SO much easier to remember someone or refer to someone in conversation when you can remember their costume. For example, a few years ago, a new friend came to my Halloween party. He was a good looking guy and so quite a few girls messaged me after the party to ask me specifically who was the guy dressed as Jason Garrett...the Cowboys head coach! They didn't know his realy name, but they remembered his costume! My friend Andrew had a simple costume, actually kind of looked like Jason Garrett, and people remembered!

Another pro tip: don't wear a mask that covers your face!!

3. Only Talk to People You Know.

I used to think that I had plenty of friends and that I didn't really need to work on meeting new people. WRONG. Now I know that it never hurts to say hi to a new friend and make a connection! If you attend an event and ONLY talk to people you already know, you're missing out on a huge opportunity for new friendships and even potential networking for work or side projects you're working on!

Say hi to a few new people! Set a goal for yourself- you're going to meet 3 new friends at an event- and then DO IT! You won't believe how successful you are if you set a goal for yourself... you might even have so much fun making new friends that you keep going and exceed your goal. I believe in you ;)
