Red white and blue inspo to get you ready for the Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July! Every year, I get so excited about the Fourth, and doubly excited because the following week is my birthday! ;) This year will be different, without a doubt, but that doesn't mean that we can't still celebrate our country on a smaller scale. I put together a small Fourth of July preview celebration and brainstormed some ideas for a small celebration - I hope they help inspire you to celebrate, even if it's on a smaller scale than you're used to!

Of course, I always start on Pinterest to look for party inspiration - I love being overwhelmed (in a good way) with party inspiration! Whenever I'm planning a get-together, whether it's a dinner party or a birthday celebration, I make sure to take inventory of party supplies that I currently have on-hand to avoid unnecessary purchases! I had a few items on-hand like these huge patriotic pool floaties; and what's a party without disco balls- I always have plenty of those!

I played with the setup for a while before settling on using glass coke bottles (instead of the red mini cans I had, which were also cute!). Coca-Cola always feels right for the Fourth!

A few touches of red and blue in my baked goods and decor keep things festive without getting too tacky! I'm a fan of minimal setups, and using one items as the focal point.

In this case, my fun focal point for this setup was the 1776 cake topper! I found these adorable number balloon cake toppers and knew I could do something fun with them!

I found these baked good sleeves, and opted for some fried pies to fill them! The sleeves came with coordinating wooden cutlery, so I attached with ribbon, and I think it's just the cutest presentation!

Twinning for the Fourth is always a good idea! I haven't had much reason to put on a red lip during COVID season, so it was fun to do something a little different and think about how to get festive for the Fourth!

I hope this shoot helps inspire you and give you ideas to create your own Fourth of July celebration, whether it's at home or a social distancing bbq! Stay safe!
