I can't believe that we are in the first week of April already! I leave for Paris is 8 days (EIGHT!!) and I'm not ready at all! I can't wait to be strolling along the streets of Paris, working from quaint cafes, and living in one of my favorite cities. Of course, I didn't think about this when I booked my trip, but I'm missing Easter in Dallas! I'm excited to be able to celebrate Easter in Paris and plan to attend an Easter service at Notre Dame, but I'm also sad to miss my Easter tradition of hosting Easter brunch at my house after church, then heading to the park and either smashing "cascarones" (confetti-filled eggs!) on each other or having a fun day of games at the park. I've been hosting an Easter event at my house for the past 7-ish years, so I will definitely have to make some new friends in Paris to celebrate with so I don't feel homesick.

I love this polka dot dress from J.Crew for a potential Easter Sunday dress! It has short sleeves so it is appropriate for church and so easy to throw on with a cute pair of wedges (not to mention, it is so reasonable, less than $50!). I paired it with my hot pink Lancel bag that I bought in Paris 9 years ago and still enjoy. I love that I can also wear a denim jacket over this dress with white sneakers to dress it down for daytime wear.
