Weekend guide to Fredericksburg, Texas!

Weekend guide to Fredericksburg, Texas!

We had the best time in Fredericksburg, Texas over the weekend! I went down with a group of girls to celebrate our friend Chandler's bachelorette party, so of course I have to share a few of the highlights with you. I had never been to Fredericksburg and it was the most charming little town, so I'm excited to show you a few of my favorite spots, wineries, and restaurants!

First, we stayed at the a little Airbnb house just a couple blocks from Main Street, so it was easy to get around town! There are so many cute houses in Fredericksburg and the Airbnb game is strong, but definitely book early! Fredericksburg seems to be a really popular destination for bachelorette parties and girls trips!

We had a break between wineries and wanted to grab a quick lunch and stopped at Fresh Pickens Market - it's the cutest! It's actually next to a gas station and you wouldn't know to stop there...unless you know to stop there! ;) They have sandwiches, paninis, salads, and a cute market area, so it's a great spot for a quick lunch and browse.

We went to a few different wineries, but hands-down, my favorite was Signor Vineyards. The photo above was taken there, and it was a beautiful property! White walls, rustic touches, outdoor seating, live music, and a cute curated shop, just to name a few of my favorite things about it! There was greenery and lavender bushes everywhere, so I was in plant-mom heaven! It was the perfect setting for a day with the gals.

We had great dinner experiences! The photo above is at Hill Top Cafe, and it is the cutest rustic restaurant in the middle of nowhere...about 15 minutes outside of Fredericksburg. Let's just say the dinner crowd was not ready to see a bunch of *disco cowgirls* walk in. Ha! The food was a surprise - the owner is Greek and his late wife was Cajun, so the mix of cuisine on the menu was so fun! Everything we had was great!

I also loved Rathskeller Restaurant on Main St. Fredericksburg. You go downstairs and it's a basement restaurant - so cozy (but not good cell service! Ha!). Heavy German influence on the menu, and everything was so good!

Those are just a few recommendations, but there were so many more cute spots in town! Next time I visit, I'll definitely plan time to stroll on Main St. and check out all of the little shops and cute cafes!
